At Kwenga Safari Lodge, personalised service is offered by the staff and an experienced ranger will plan and guide you on game drives and walking safaris to suit your needs. The lodge has it¿s own exclusive character. From the swimming pool and outside patio area, you are able to sip a cocktail while keeping an eye on the various animals at the waterhole a mere 100 meters away. Whether you choose to listen to the roar of the Lions from Kwenga or sip a sundowner from the pool deck or tell stories around the camp fire with your family and simply spoil yourselves with the indulgence of Kwenga, we know that the spirit of the bush will linger in your souls. The Lodge accommodates 16 guests in 8 thatched chalets. Double chalets have two bedrooms on either side of the building with en-suite bathrooms. The single unit chalets have larger en-suite bathrooms. All rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated in African design. Each chalet has its own patio and all rooms have ceiling fans and electric lighting. Meals are served in the boma for a 'dining out under the stars' experience, and one may relax after dinner around the camp fire listening to the sounds of the African night. A thatched indoor dining room and lounge with fireplace is available in the event of inclement weather. On either side of the indoor dining area is a thatched patio, one overlooking the swimming pool and Drakensberg mountains, the other incorporating a friendly bar area. A small 16-seater conference facility is available with overhead projector and screen, white board, flip-charts, TV and video.
