We have scrumptuous breakfasts and lunches available all day, served with fresh breads (baked daily) and preserves. We also serve cakes, all baked inhouse, and many other yummy treats to tickle your tastebuds!
Our coffee, a blend exclusive to Whale Tale, is said to be the best in the area and is also available for purchase...so great fresh brewing in your own home.

We are a small catering company located in Yzerfontein, on the west coast. Our aim is to cater to all your yummy and scrumptious culinary desires.
Our Summer Platters are also now available and can be view on the menu section of the website. Each platter serves 8 people comfortably.
In our small studio, we cater for events such as weddings, birthdays, production sets and conferences. We also deliver home cooked meals, platters and fresh home made bread to the locals in and around Yzerfontein.
During the holiday season, and on weekends, order a picnic basket and have it delivered to you and your family and friends on the beach. In the winter months come and taste warm fresh bread while sipping on soup at the studio and watch while our Chef creates your perfect birthday cake.
On a warm summer’s day, take in the fresh sea air, watch the whales and dolphins play and see Table Mountain and Dassen Island as a picture on the horizon. Sit in the tea garden and enjoy a platter made to your taste and sip cold fresh fruit juice.
