Our Name
The group operates 28 branches throughout Southern Africa having started in Kimberley, where operations jointly began with Cape Town under the Lloyd & Lloyd name in 1898, later to be known as Stewarts & Lloyds (South Africa) Limited in 1903. The name is still synonymous with excellent service and good quality products.
Our People
With people being the most important aspect of the business, Stewarts and Lloyds have realized the importance of motivating and retaining staff and as such have invested in training in a big way. In addition to product training, courses in management, sales are offered with all staff encouraged to attend.

With regard to our BEE program, we are close to finalisation and are also involved in social upliftment programs in the outlying areas.
Turnover
The Company operates out of 45 000 square metres of warehouse throughout the country with inventory levels being in the region of R100 million. Stewarts and Lloyds employs over 450 people.
Suppliers of steel flat bar, angle, channel, open sections, round and square bar, joists, sheet and plate, expanded metal and grid. Round, square and rectangular structural tube.
Suppliers of pipe conveyance, seamless, copper and pipe fittings incorporating malleable, wrought steel, buttweld fittings, copper and pipe fitting fabrication.
Stewarts & Lloyds supply a wide variety of steam, water, oil and gas valves in carbon steel, cast iron, brass, bronze, stainless steel and plastic.
A wide range of surface pumps and borehole pumps are available as well as windmills.
Our steel processing services include straight line cutting, profiling, bevelling, plate rolling, guillotining and steel cut-to-size.
Our Cash and Carry outlets throughout the country stock a range of pumps, generators, wire, valves, irrigation, fencing, and industrial hardware.
A comprehensive range of irrigation equipment, pipes, fittings, sprinklers, valves and accessories.
