In 2002, Rocktuff Pumps and Mining Supplies cc diversified to include manufacturing and established Rocktuff Manufacturers. The company accuired the sole manufacturing rights to all Anvac, Ansub & Anwell pumps. Rocktuff operates throughout the whole of Africa, including countries such as Namibia, Zambia and Ghana
Emergency repairs
An unusual wellpointing application was handled when petrol leaked from an underground storage tank, and floated on top of the normal underground water. With the danger of the fuel getting into sewers and storm water drains and possible explosions, wellpointing equipment and ANVAC pumps were used to recover as much petrol as possible and help defuse a very dangerous situation.

Sewer by-pass
Because of their ability to operate on snore Anvac pumps can be used on sewer by-pass applications, pumping from one manhole to the next while the intermediate sewer pipe is cleaned or repaired. The pump runs continuously, pumping as demand arises.
Wellpointing
Being equipped with sliding vane vacuum priming pumps, Anvac pumps are particularly suited for operating well points. The vacuum pumps have a high air handling capacity even at relatively high vacuums and consequently ensure that the system operates most efficiently, even when one or more wellpoints are totally drawn down.
Mine dewatering
The ability to handle large solids and slurries in addition to being so effective at self priming makes Anvac pumps eminently suitable for dewatering of large excavations such as open cast mines. The range of impellers allowing heads of up to 120 m ensures they can cope with nearly all applications for keeping the excavations dry.
Cleaning tanks
Again the solids handling ability, plus the high suction attainable makes Anvac pumps suitable for cleaning sludge from oil and other storage tanks. These pumps have been known to pass welding rods, bottles, rags and other solids when used for this application.
