Shen Acupuncture is an Oriental medicine Practice, but Sanna believes in Post Traumatic Growth and TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) has integrated into her practise very smoothly.
Each individual treatment is built using the following components: acupuncture, acupressure, massage, cupping, moxibustion, realignment and manipulation. Learning TRE is done in separate sessions.
The theories and concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can be complex and difficult to understand, but the strengths of this system are in individuality and interconnectedness of everything. There is no separation between body and mind.
Sanna believes and trusts in the innate wisdom of the body. Her work as a therapist is centred on creating a safe space for her patients to connect with themselves and find their own way through the journey of life. The ability to adapt to changes is crucial to human wellbeing. TRE, is a powerful way to increase flexibility in the body and the mind which allows for better adaptation to changes. Traditional Chinese acupuncture, Tao Yin therapy and TRE together, provide the magnificent human organism a chance to release, reset and evolve.
