I-Gwala Gwala Country House is an hours drive from the warm waters of Maputo, close to both the Numbi and the Phabeni gates of the Kruger National Park and the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Guided tours to many places of interest in the area can be arranged.
I-Gwala Gwala's large, well wooded garden offers an ideal setting for outdoor weddings and other celebrations and our Boma is perfect for those occasions where an authentic Lowveld feel to outdoor catering is desired.
At I-Gwala Gwala Country House we strive to provide unobtrusive yet seamless service. We are owner managed and together with our dedicated staff we undertake a commitment that you leave us feeling rested, relaxed and ready for a return visit.
Accommodation consists of five double rooms, each with a bar fridge and full en-suite bathroom. There are also two well equipped self catering cottages. Channel TV is available in each room.
All rooms have their own private entrance and are positioned to maximise the full benefit of the garden which is home to an abundance of bird life. Guests can relax at the sparkling swimming pool surrounded by subtropical plants and listen to the numerous bird calls. Lucky visitors sometimes get a glimpse of the crimson brilliance of the shy
