Magnalor was appointed by Nu-Way/Motheo JV to sub-contract as a painting contractor in 2008-2010 at various Prasa stations in Johannesburg and Soweto for their Stations Upgrading Project. The quality of the paint work was so good they appointed Magnalor to do painting work for the new Orlando station in Soweto as well. Magnalor also does Painting and Paving installations.

Magnalor has since expanded into refrigeration and air conditioners repairs and installations. We repaired refrigerations on more than 50 Shosholoza Meyl and Premier Classe coaches at Prasa's Braamfontein depot from December 2011 to March 2012. We are one of the only three companies to be trained to install the new Voslloh air conditioners system on the Prasa's Shosholoza Meyl and Premier Classe coaches. Magnalor has been supplying Prasa's rolling stock divisions with components and parts for the past three years. Magnalor has also installed paving at Prasa's Leralla Station in Tembisa, Kempton Park for the Intermodal system project there.
