As the Helderberg Basin is only 25min drive from Cape Town it offers the excitement of the city combined with the peace of the country.
It furthermore offers easy access to a variety of tourist attractions such as the excellent wine estates of the nearby winelands, several world-renowned golf courses, walking trails in the Fynbos covered Hotentots-Holland Mountains and, of course, fun-filled days along the warm Atlantic Ocean beaches.
The Strand offers ideal waters for sailing, surfing, fishing, swimming and wind surfing. With its long and safe beaches, a number of restaurants and shops, the Strand is truly an ideal holiday destination.
A 50% deposit of your total accommodation cost will secure your booking. The other half of the cost is payable on arrival at White Waters Beach House.
Deposits for accommodation are non-refundable, unless a doctor’s or death certificate can be produced. Should The Beach House be able to let the unit for the same period, at the same rate in the case of cancellation, deposits will be refunded, less an administration fee of 20% of the total booking
The Helderberg area encompasses the towns of Gordon's Bay, Lwandle, Macassar, Sir Lowry's Pass, Somerset West and Strand. The Hottentots Holland and Helderberg Mountain Ranges provide a majestic backdrop to the picturesque vineyards and the spectacular False Bay coastline.
