The manufacturing plant extrudes wide width sheeting for the construction and geosynthetic membrane markets. Products for the construction market are used mainly for damp and waterproofing. Gundle API is the market leader and the Gundle brand is widely specified by architects and quantity surveyors. Gundle is the only manufacturer in South Africa that can extrude film wider than 9 meters. Wide width sheeting in agriculture is used for covering greenhouses, silage and lining farm dams.
