Computer Site Installations (Pty) Ltd, now presented as CSI Thabile Networking Solutions (Pty) Ltd, was founded in 1982, when the company planted its roots and began trading from a small office in Lynwood Pretoria.
In 1985, the management of the company decided that in order to best serve their clients the company had to relocate their place of business closer to Johannesburg. The relocation was to Sandton, from where the company still trades today.
At inception, the main focus of our business was to specialize in The Design Through to Construction of the Main Frame Computer Environment. Comparatively speaking, in the early eighties, very little network cabling was done.
The years that followed saw technology advancing in leaps and bounds, which saw the rapid transformation of the Main Frame to the File Server. Traditionally, the mainframe computers with their associated mystique, cost and size, enabled companies to justify spending vast sums of money to create a suitable environment for their massive investments.
The IT manager was well aware of the fact that any unaccounted for "down time" would almost always be blamed on the computer environment.
Turnkey Defined as “Supplied, installed, or purchased in a condition ready for immediate use, occupation, or operation: a turnkey computer system; a turnkey housing project.”
