"SlipWay" Waterfront Restaurant was opened in 1992. The Schaafsma family started and are still involved in the management of this West Coast Establishment . "SlipWay" Restaurant in Saldanha on the West Coast was started after the Schaafsma Family returned from a 3 year circumnavigation fo Africa as well as touring through Europe. Since the beginning we have grown the business and enjoy playing host to guests from all over the world. "SlipWay" has seen and been part of many changes in this growing hospitality industry. 2013 has also been a time of change as we have remodified our restaurant structure to reflect our times without losing our well known and treasured rustic ambience. Being in the harbour our setting reflects the spirit of the West Coast relaxing, natural and enviromental friendly.
