The VisaRequest website was developed by Omvo Web Media, who completed 17 websites for Embassies and High Commissions in South Africa, and also several other e-commerce websites. The highly skilled developers, annalists and designers collaborated in developing a platform which offers easy access to information and which coordinates the application process.
The website displays the visa requirements and requests the user to complete a form and to choose a relevant courier for collection and delivery of the passport. Thereafter it calculate the price and duration of the application, taking into account the collection, delivery and processing time, as well as public holidays. It then provides the option to pay online using a credit card. Thereafter it sends this information together with an application form to the applicant by email, and sends a sms with a username and password to follow the progress of the application. The tracking facilities through each of the stages enable us to identify any deviation from the expected delivery date if and when it may occur.
The Courier will contact the client and arrange to collect the documentation and deliver it again. The central processing office receives the applications where it is thoroughly checked by trained consultants before submission to the various Embassies and Consulates to avoid unnecessary delays. The website can also process applications by a travel agency or other references offering a commission on such referrals.
