PAF – SA is a registered not-for-profit organization. Through establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with existing performing art institutions, organisations and organisers in South Africa we strive to accomplish our vision of promoting the performing arts through education, community outreach programs, and events. PAF – SA aims to help young talented performers across all sectors of society to make their dreams come true.

Company description

The Performing Arts Foundation – SA (PAF-SA) was born when one talented girl’s hard work resulted in her representing South Africa at the 2013 World Championships hosted in Los Angeles, USA. Her love for the performing arts and theatre together with her passion and determination brought home two gold, three silver and one bronze medal. She participated in Modelling and Acting disciplines and was awarded a two year scholarship at the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. The costs for attending the competition amounted to over R 85 000.00 which was raised through sponsors and donors.
There is an abundance of talent in South Africa, and funding for participation in domestic competitions can amount to thousands of rands per participant. Very often there are participants that come from disadvantaged communities and the transport and accommodation costs are an additional expense that make participation an impossible dream.
Fund Raiser
Bronkhorstspruit SMS Competition PAF – SA Raised R 18 721.33 through this project over three months.
Mr & Miss Midrand 2014 ( With Elite Event Management )
PAF – SA raised R 7200.00 through this event. We sponsored two participants not only with entry fees but with training, transport, food for the day, shoes and dresses. It was there first time competing. I was inspired by the girls. They were determined to be successful even though they compete against girls who are trained in pageantry.
Zithobeni Community Projects
Ongoing Project were PAF – SA support children in this disadvantaged community through organising support, training and events in Modelling and Drama. PAF – SA is currently busy to negotiate with all the schools in this community to enter events. On their side they are in negotiations with the Department of Education to fund these projects.
We are in need of more trained girls in pageantry who are willing to give up their time not only to train these children but to help
