Port Owen is a marina development in the quaint West Coast fishing village of Velddrif. Just 90 minutes away from Cape Town, it is situated on the banks of the Berg River, just a short distance from where the river runs into the sea at Laaiplek. We offer 4 star accommodation on a B&B basis or self-catering and are very well situated to allow visitors to overnight and take day trips to as far afield as Klawer, Vanrhynsdorp and Nieuwoudtville to view the spectacular spring flowers.

Accommodation in a small twin (2 single beds), and a double en-suite (double bed) is found downstairs. The rooms are equipped with a ceiling fan, hair dryer, tea / coffee trolley and a heater. There is a communal TV and DVD player. DSTV is available but you will need to bring your own smartcard. The downstairs rooms share bathroom facilities, which make these rooms ideal for families. The accommodation upstairs consists of a double en-suite (double bed). This room is equipped with a ceiling fan, spa bath and shower, hair-dryer, towelling robes, tea / coffee tray, heater, TV and DVD player and DSTV (bring your own smartcard). There is also a large double en-suite / ¿honeymoon¿ suite (king-size bed). This suite is equipped with an air-conditioner, Victorian bath, shower, towelling robes, hair-dryer, tea / coffee tray, balcony with a view, heater, TV & DVD player and DSTV (bring your own smartcard). It is possible to rent the entire house on a self catering basis. All facilities remain as for the Bed and Breakfast option, but breakfast will not be served.
