ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
The organization was formed in March 2003 after the realization of government that the community must be involve in the fight against HIV/AIDS and other chronic diseases. About thirty people formed this organization even though some did not manage to execute the objectives. All these thirty people were from Care Group. By April 2003 only twelve members had rein to be positive members of Dikgale Home Based Care.
We serve the areas under Dikgale traditional Authority under chief Mr. S.M Dikgale. The areas we serve are only those falling under Dikgale clinic cashment areas, and those are Mogabane, Titibe, Makgoba, Kgwareng, Marobala, Dikgopheng and Mokgopo.
Presently our organization is operating with 18 care givers (Field workers) and three permanent staff which are Project manager, financial manager and Coordinator.
Our organization is situated at 40 Km east of Polokwane, along R81 road to Motsatsisloof.
Realizing that there is high of unemployment in our country we decided to come together and form this business. Our main objective is not enriching ourselves. But to play a meaningful role in creating job opportunities for the most vulnerable i.e. the youth, the disabled and women. We are a small medium sized wholly owned black business.
We believe that we owe it to our country to contribute meaningfully in the skills developed and job creation, which our country desperately needs
