Both units have separate lock-up parking facilities. All guests may use the braai (barbecue), the swimming pool and laundry facilities. Units are serviced three times per week. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided; continental breakfast is available, if required, for an additional charge. Both units are quite private so guests can come and go without disturbing anyone else or being disturbed. Barbara is a qualified tour guide and can advise you on places to go if you are new to Cape Town . Unit 1 - The Cottage: The Cottage is a free-standing unit consisting of a bedroom with a comfortable double bed and quality pillows; an en-suite bathroom with a big shower and new toilet and basin. Towels and soap are provided; a separate kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave and toaster plus normal cutlery, crockery and utensils. There is a small table in the hall that can be used to eat at or to work on; a lounge with a couch and a sleeper couch, a TV set, a radio and a bookshelf. Additional books are available in the main house; a small but private patio. Unit 2 - The Executive Studio: The Executive Studio adjoins the main house but remains very private with a separate entrance and gate. It consists of a large bed-sit with an XL Queen-size bed; an en-suite bathroom with big shower and new toilet and basin; towels and soap are provided. A fully equipped kitchenette, including fridge, stove, microwave and toaster; a sitting area with two armchairs and double French doors opening onto a large sunny patio; TV with MNET and shared DSTV. Although Pinelands is very centrally situated with easy access to everywhere, public transport is not great and you will probably need a car.
