Description

MACS has been around since 1984, “enriching the life of the community by providing a creative environment for art and craft appreciation and development”, as our mission statement has it.

What happens at MACS:

Educational events such as regular classes, courses, workshops, lectures and informal craft support groups
Exhibitions of work by MACS members and teachers, invited artists and outside organisations
Book launches
An annual fair/exhibition in late November/early December each year, featuring old and new items, particularly gifts and decorations

We also run

a CRAFT AND SUPPLY SHOP (see separate tab) where you can obtain your art/craft supplies and buy a wide variety of handmade articles, and
a COFFEE SHOP where you can indulge and keep your artistic energies up!
