Stonebreaker is a Tourism Grading Council of South Africa four star accredited country lodge, and a proud member of Western Cape Tourism and the Oudtshoorn Tourism Bureau.Listen to the peaceful murmur of the river while you relax in the sparkling swimming pool with unspoilt views on the surrounding mountains and some grazing game. From the nearby mountains you may hear the distinct whistle call of the Klipspringer in the moonlight or at sunrise.

All rooms are equipped with safe off-road parking, modern conveniences, elegant furniture, Honesty bar fridges (fully stocked), DStv selection, air conditioners, hairdryers, cock radio¿s, tea / coffee facilities (including rusks), bathroom and wwimming towels, toiletries, covered decks or stoeps, mountain and / or valley views, the peaceful murmur of the nearby Grobbelaar's River, viewing distance from tame game (Eland, Zebra, Kudu, Bonte buck, Springbuck), sheep and ostriches (in season). Lunch and dinner is served on request, as is a traditional barbecue. (Home cooked dinner, leg of Karoo super lamb, bobotie, tomato stew, kudu steak, ostrich fillet, ostrich neck and other ostrich dishes). Meals are also served at the cosy Old Mill Restaurant across the river. A buffet or set menu breakfast is also included. Sundowners and refreshments such as cocktails, milkshakes, coffees or tea are available on the deck or at the swimming pool, while enjoying our relaxing views or beautiful sunsets.
