Company description
Located in the beautiful Little Karoo, conveniently close to both the Garden Route and Route 62, we offer a unique base from which to enjoy and explore the beauty of this region. For the sophisticated, young at heart we offer an African experience with comfort, tranquillity and style, furnished with hand-picked African artefacts, textiles and art. Our relaxing Bed and Breakfast is built on the adjoining property for ultimate privacy. It is situated in a typical Klein Karoo indigenous garden, complementing the African architecture. A sense of fun and humour is clearly visible when approaching Shades of Africa. A painting by famous local artist, Boet van der Hoven, takes you into a joyous Litlle Karoo scene with tongue in the cheek humour. A big tapestry of a Zulu kraal by the famous Rorkes Drift Weavers covers the one wall in the dining room area and has been a very big conversation piece amongst art lovers.Experience our wide open spaces, our wealth of beauty consisting of clear skie
