My name is George Fivaz, I don’t take photo’s, I create memories that can be treasured forever. We have always been a creative family, so naturally photography was the next step. I spend hours walking the streets, looking for interesting subjects to photograph. I am a romantic at heart and believes this gives me an edge in my chosen field. I always try to capture the emotion and love that your wedding day represents to you. I believe a good photograph stops a moment from running away. The goal is not to change your subjects, but for the subject to change the photographer. Photography has always been a part of my life in one way or another, and though I didn't set out to be a photographer at all, I find that photography calls to a part of my soul that no other artistic medium can seem to find. I find creative solace in the unique beauty of each person or scene I photograph. I try to reveal personality in interesting angles, candid looks, and comfortable, natural locations. I want to capture personality first and foremost, and I enjoy getting to know those I have the opportunity to photograph. My style reflects my personality; thoughtfully artistic, and passionate about capturing moments that define life's joy. I strive to present each photo as its own work of art. Attention to detail and careful post processing are of great importance to me. My visual and art history backgrounds are guiding influences for my photography and affect the way I see my subject from first meeting to final print. I live in one of the most scenic and memorable places in the entire world, and so I select locations with lots of texture, plenty of natural light, and when available a stunning South African vista. We are surrounded by such wonder, it would be a shame not to allow some of that to accent our view of the world. I am reminded daily of how lucky I am to have uncovered my love for photography.
