Description
Nyati Slabs has been operating since 1987. The company started initially as a marketing and design business in the prestressed rib and block slab market. Slab designs were done 'in house' and materials were supplied through various preferred suppliers and delivered to site for installation throughout the Gauteng region. In 1993 Nyati Slabs merged with two other large suppliers to become the largest rib and block slab supplier in South Africa. Hence Super Slabs was born.

Company description
In 1997 Nyati Slabs created its first 'satellite branch' in Nelspruit, as part of a larger national plan to build a series of branches throughout South Africa. Our focus initially was on the medium sized town in Mpumalanga, well positioned for potential growth along the developing Maputo corridor. In 1999 Nyati Slabs created its own precast factory in Nelspruit, manufacturing prestressed rib and block slabs as well as other concrete products.
Our strategy was to own total control of the business by marketing, designing, manufacturing and erecting rib and block slabs ourselves, without being reliant on outside contractors. Nyati Slabs currently operates in Nelspruit, Shaka's Head in KZN and Maputo.
Service is not our only strength, at Nyati Slabs we continually strive to innovate with new dynamic products and systems in order to create a benefit both in costing and time for our valued clients and end users. The owners of Nyati Slabs are Civil Engineers with more than 21 years experience in the industry.
