We are introducing North West’s news magazine, Agenda. This magazine is born of a realization that news and lifestyle magazines sells big time and this will be the core of our editorial. We will however not in anyway compromise on factual reporting of news and information. The tabloid approach will mainly be the feel and the look of the magazine which is set to attract readers.
The livelihood of this magazine will be on Advertising. We have no doubt prospective advertisers will find Agenda Magazine a relevant platform to advertise on since its style of reporting will attract many readers. Advertising in itself is one of the biggest sources of revenue for media companies, we are sure to benefit from this.
Apart from advertising, we also stand to benefit and generate revenue from Sales. Our style of reporting will allow us to sell in huge volumes because our readers will find it very easy to relate and identify with it.
There is a huge gap for an alternative form of publication in a magazine in the North West province hence we are capitalizing on this opportunity.
Being new in the market, the company started well by publishing its first issue in February 2007. The initial plan is to make it a monthly publication. Once we are grounded, we intend to publish bi-monthly. The long term objective of the publishing is for the magazine to become a weekly publication. This goal will be realized (we foresee once the company can consistently publish) for the next 12 months.
