Jaci's Safari Lodge Jaci's Safari Lodge is situated at an ideal spot overlooking an established and well used water hole, under a grove of Tamboetie trees, on the edge of the Marico River. The main complex is different, open plan, curved around a huge anthill, under shady trees overlooking the water hole and on the banks of the Marico River. Safari Lodge has eight beautifully furnished rooms designed in the style of tents with roll-able canvas sides, each with an en-suite bathroom and magnificent outside shower. The deck in front of the room allows you to sit and enjoy the surrounding sights and smells of the bushveld - whilst watching the animals walking past to drink. The walls in the bathroom are built using natural rock and the bath was constructed on site. Children sharing with their parents are comfortably accommodated on camping stretchers in the rooms. Maximum 3 children per room. Jaci's Tree Lodge: has eight "tree houses", each encompassing a giant Tamboetie or Leadwood Tree. Each ¿tree house¿ is constructed amongst the riverine forest on stilts, up to 4 meters from the ground. In these spacious tree houses ¿ built, utilising a combination of rosewood, thatch and stacking doors. An open plan, en-suite bathroom with an enormous stone bath and outdoor ¿jungle shower¿ allow you to enjoy your forest surrounds. Raised wooden walkways link all the rooms to the main lodge. These two exciting additions to Jaci¿s offer an exclusive ¿bush retreat¿ for families travelling together. Nare Suite: so named because of the resident Buffalo Bull who frequents the waterhole in front of the Suite. The Nare Suite accommodates a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 persons to offer our guests an exclusive bush retreat. Both bedrooms have canvas sides with a handmade rock bath and outdoor safari shower. An upstairs loft room is ideal for children.
