For me DarkArt was born out of grief and emotional blackness, questioning the meaning of life and death following my late husband’s fatal motorbike accident in 2005. I found I could not work, but instead painted my emotions, what I felt, and in the process healed myself, experiencing a whole new way of seeing things.
