Description
St Ursula's School is an independent, Christian school immersed in Catholic tradition, that educates both boys and girls from age three to grade nine, and girls to grade 12. Boys will continue into grade 10 in 2015, and will continue up each year, until we have our first class of boys matriculating in 2017.

PRE SCHOOL (Ages 3, 4 & 5 : Boys and Girls)Beginning with three-year-olds in Grade 000, and continuing on to Grade R, our Pre-School teachers provide a nurturing environment in which boys and girls actively develop a love of learning. Our little people feel secure and loved while they explore new areas of interest.
FOUNDATION PHASE (Grades R to 4 : Boys and Girls)
Fundamental attitudes toward learning are formed during these years of school. We strive to develop in learners those skills necessary for continued academic and social success.
INTERMEDIATE PHASE (Grades 4, 5 & 6: Boys and Girls)
St Ursula’s School offers learners at this level the opportunity to learn while building their self-esteem. Our teachers understand the social pressures that young people feel at this age, and they create an educational environment that puts the learners first, affords them leadership roles, and encourages them to focus on their academics. The nurturing atmosphere at St Ursula's School encourages the learners to explore their special talents and to begin to set their own goals for success.
SENIOR PHASE (Grades 7, 8 & 9 : Boys and Girls)
The Senior Phase years are a special time in which the learners experience more growth emotionally and socially than at any other time since infancy. Our teachers devote equal attention to our learners’ emerging interpersonal skills and their academic progress. During this period of early adolescence, our learners are encouraged to be self-confident and independent in their thinking, while learning to respect the differences in one another.
FURTHER EDUCATION AND TRAINING PHASE (Grades 10, 11 & 12 – Girls only. Boys will continue into Grade 10 in 2015.)
During this phase, our learners are academically prepared for tertiary education. Our teachers are committed to working with each learner so he/she can reach his/her highest potential, in an atmosphere of trust and a loving Christian atmosphere.
