Ebbtide House is situated on beautiful Thesen Islands on the famous Knysna Lagoon. This home is located in the Parkland of the Island, and thus very secluded. Close by is the Bird Reserve and Hide, Kiddies Playground, Putting Course and private beach, for the exclusive use of residents and guests! Lovely, safe walking and cycling pathways are found all the way around the Island, and linked up by quaint bridges. Tennis and squash courts can be booked by guests, if desired. There are numerous slipways for launching boats into the wide waterways. The house has a mooring just across the road from the fully fenced garden.

The property offers accommodation for 2 to 8 guests. In the main house there are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two lounges, kitchen and scullery with all the needed modern appliances. A large covered patio, with BBQ, large table and chairs are available for great outdoor entertaining. There is also a separate fully self-contained loft apartment with own entrance and parking. Ebbtide House can be hired with, or without Eventide Loft Apartment. Main bedroom and loft, air conditioned - fans in other bedrooms King size bed in main en suite. Mooring available across the road from garden and small boat can be made available, if needed. Fully fenced garden leading out into the parkland with ponds and abundant birdlife. Lounge/dining with fireplace - very wheelchair friendly. Loft apartment has a Queen bed, kitchenette, lounge/dining, DSTV, patio, Cob BBQ, table and chairs. All linen and towells supplied throughout. Daily servicing can be arranged, if required. Thesen Island is situated in-between Knysna Quays & Thesen Harbour Town. Safe pathways across foot bridges to Thesen Harbour Town or a few minutes drive. Knysna Quays Waterfront within walking distance, or a short drive. Ferries, canoes, water sports, yachting charters, fishing trips. Boats for hire to explore the Lagoon. Eco Adventure Activities from the Waterfronts. Enjoy sunset cruises with drinks and snacks Dolphin and whale watching cruises. The Waterfront boast a large variety of shops and craft markets.
