Natasha Veegh is the practice's principal attorney. She attained a BA (Law) in 1995 and LLB degree in 1997 from the University of Kwazulu-Natal; an Advanced Certificate in Corporate and Securities Law (2002); and obtained a Masters of Law degree specialising in Commercial Law (Banking law, Companies law and Commercial contracts) (2004) both from UNISA. She 15 years of legal experience.
She has practiced in civil magistrates court & high court litigation in commercial, family and insolvency law; and spent more than 10 years as legal counsel in financial services for several leading national and multinational banks (Deutsche Bank, Citibank and Nedbank Capital), and with a leading insurer (Discovery Group). She has experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Corporate Lending, Financial Markets, Stock Broking, Derivatives, Structured Products, Debt Capital Markets, Long-term Insurance, Retirement Funds and Retail Investment Products.
She is a mediator and arbitrator, specialising in divorce, labour and commercial matters. She completed her Advanced Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution through the University of Pretoria and the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa (“AFSA”) cum laude in 2012. She is a member of the AFSA panel of mediators and arbitrators, and is a FAMSA legal mediator.
She has practiced as Veegh Attorneys since 2012 as a general practitioner.
