I would like to introduce you to an evolutionary method to relieve and eventually eliminate stress and trauma in the body. TRE (Trauma and Stress Releasing Exercises) uses a set of physical stretches and tensioning exercises to trick your body into believing it is in “Fight or Flight” mode, i.e. that you are experiencing stress or trauma. This induces a neurogenic muscle tremor in the affected muscle groups. This muscle tremor moves to the areas of the body which are carrying the physical effects of either stress or trauma - past or current - and releases it. The tremor mechanism forms part of your body’s ancient wisdom to release the hormones that get secreted into your muscles when you are experiencing stress or trauma.
