Travail solves the problem of where to meet when you are out of your own office or indeed when you don’t have an office. Setting up and maintaining an office with infrastructure, furniture, staff and operational expenses can put a massive strain on a small business in its formative years. Coffee shops, Restaurants and Hotel lobbies have become to go-to spaces of the nomadic, mobile and coworking workforce. As much as these tables and chairs are “free” at the nominal cost of a coffee or water they are not the best places to work. They are uncomfortable, unprofessional, not ergonomic, not acoustic, not private and not an office. Let’s face it they are places designed to eat and drink at – not work at.
Travail spaces were designed in collaboration with an Architectural Interior Design and Workspace Consultant. Travail responds to the best of what the workspace of tomorrow must be. Travail is designed around 3 simple principles – Good design otherwise called physical ergonomics, a solid infrastructure of Fibre delivered uncapped Wi-Fi and uninterrupted, Generator powered electricity and really good Italian coffee.
Travail responds to the modern workday by featuring 4 “zones” within which the work can flow from contemplation to socialisation to innovation and finally to collaboration. We do this with our formal and informal closed and open spaces and seating arrangements that range from redesigned, private and acoustic café style seating, an ergonomic and sociable coffee bar, private hot desks with height adjustable tops, award winning German-designed executive seating and footrests, a Chatroom, a Smartroom, a Boardroom
