I have been fortunate to present my research internationally at the fourth Annual Global Hearing Health Conference in May 2013, locally at the South African Association of Audiologists Seminar in June 2013 and the ENT/SASLHA/ SAAA Congress in September 2013. I am registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa. I am passionate about the prevention of hearing loss and the promotion of hearing health care. I am currently involved in clinical research in the area of teleaudiology. I have additional training in Vestibular Assessment and together with an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Specialist, we started a successful clinic for dizzy patients at a tertiary hospital in Gauteng, South Africa. I am also on the board of advisors for an American non-profit organization in Peru called “Motos for Fonos” which aims to improve hearing in developing countries through noise abatement and hearing aid access. I have 5 years of experience working with both adults and children in basic and advanced audiological testing.
