Sizwe Car Rental was established in November 1995 as a joint venture between Elizabeth Tryon and Avis Holdings SA, with the objective to accelerate Sizwe as a black-owned business in South Africa’s growing economy.
As a licensee of Avis PLC we have access to the Avis “Wizard” System, and we are confident Sizwe can offer a unique combination of services that set us apart from any other BEE car rental company in South Africa.
While the Company has access to the worldwide Avis “Wizard” computer system, it operates totally independently of Avis Rent a Car.
