Secprop Leisure's objective is to provide a solution to poverty-stricken communities in the rural areas of southern and eastern Africa that lie adjacent to, and presently threaten, major conservation areas (i.e. national parks and game reserves), by developing quality safari and beach resorts and lodges, and the necessary guest experiences that accompany them.
The strategy is to focus on established destinations where there is a high demand for ecotourism, and for affordable, high volume products that offer an exclusive experience to middle income earners who prefer a fully catered option. In addition, the guest experience is the key to the quality of the product offering, and therefore it is essential that guests be provided with a memorable, exciting and educational exposure to Africa’s nature.

The business is owned by Peter Wright and Michael Wright, who both have a deep passion and respect for nature and all things wild. Their desire is to create tremendous destinations and experiences for guests, permanent jobs and business opportunities for members of adjacent rural communities, and a telling contribution to the conservation and expansion of wildlife areas.
The company was established in 1997 and initially provided tourism consulting services to a broad array of clients, but since 2004 has concentrated primarily on developing its own ecotourism property opportunities.
As a secondary focus we offer services in tourism consulting and proposing suitable vacation ownership schemes.
