Joyride Family Funpark offers a unique and exciting learning experience for the whole family, including 4x4 paintball, the brainchild of its owner, Gerald Fitzpatrick. He has set up a challenging course on which a licensed driver handles rough terrain while a passenger shoots objects, targets or other vehicles.

The innovation doesn’t end there. Where else can a child aged 9 or more drive a vehicle supervised by a parent or passenger who has full control of the vehicle? For added safety, course marshals have full remote control of the vehicle.
Kids aged 16 and up can drive a 1 km 4x4 course with a parent or instructor as the passenger. Here too, course marshalls have full remote control of the vehicle.
Adults with a license can test and upgrade their vehicle handling skills while getting their adrenalin pumping drifting Supras of various specifications. It’s great fun and often an eye-opener. Few people realise how little they are able to handle a vehicle going into a slide.
There are also family fun staples to keep the less adventurous entertained, including standard paintball (for those who like to show off their bruises) and target shooting paintball (for those who don’t).
Quads are available for kids within a certain height range and for the littlies, there are trampolines and sandpits.
