Husky Design has been designing and manufacturing 100% New Zealand Wool rugs and carpets for the last 30 years. The company has manufactured rugs and carpets for hotels, banks, car dealerships, air craft, guest houses, insurance companies and individual residential clients. We pride ourselves in our ability to complement different types of interiors from corporate to residential and from classic to modern depending on the clients' needs. We manufacture our rugs in 12mm to 40mm pile heights in tufted and loop pile as well as combinations thereof. Shape is not an issue - we can make your rug in any shape and design your interior requires.

Husky Design was started in 1984 in Midrand and has been manufacturing bespoke rugs and carpets ever since. It was the brainchild of Mike Dias who is an Industrial and Graphic Designer and at the time was in the advertising industry. The emphasis of our rugs is on the quality - quality of design, quality of raw material, quality of workmanship and quality of after sales service. We work with each client helping them to make a choice which will be an indication of their individual taste and style and will only manufacture once the client approves the design.
