How do I register my child?
Invite the Child Protection Agency to your child’s school to have your child registered.
What does registration involve?
Parents are requested to assist CPA to create the following profiles of your child:
Physical profile – height, weight, hair colour, eye colour, build, scars, birthmark etc.
In-contact profile – list the contact details of people who have regular interaction with your child.
Cyber contacts - who does your child speak to: online, on MxIT, facebook, myspace, twitter etc.
Medical history – many children require medication from a young age and this info is vital.
DNA samples – samples are taken and can be used for comparison if it’s required.
Scented item – the child will have to wear a pair of socks for a day then put it in a bag as a sample.
Photos – head shots will be required for facial recognition
What does CPA do with all the information of each child?
The information is stored on the CPA data base – for instant retrieval when needed.
Samples are stored in a secure facility.
