ADDnova OT is a Sensory Integration Occupational Therapy practice that was established in 2000. It forms part of "The ADDnova Centre for child and family development” in Blairgowrie, Johannesburg.
We are a team of Occupational Therapists working with children ranging from birth to adolescence. Our therapists use a variety of approaches to treat diagnoses such as Sensory Processing Disorder; Learning Difficulties; Developmental Delay; gross motor and fine motor difficulties; Developmental Co-ordination Disorder; visual-perceptual difficulties; AD(H)D; Autistic Spectrum Disorders; scholastic difficulties; Down’s Syndrome and other syndromes.
We conduct a detailed assessment followed by a comprehensive report and feedback session for parents. Our therapists create an individualised Occupational Therapy program for each child and are always available to provide updates on your child’s progress.

ADDnova OT offers both individual and group therapy for children. We have sound therapies available to all our clients. In addition, we run parent and teacher workshops. ADDnova OT also provides infant massage and infant development programs.
Our therapists attend regular ADDnova multidisciplinary meetings with participating Psychiatrists, a Developmental Paediatrician, Psychologists, Play Therapists, Physiotherapists and a Speech and Hearing Therapist. These meetings provide us with the opportunity to discuss common clients and ensure that we manage each child optimally and holistically.
