Zululand Mission Air Transport (ZUMAT) is an air charter and flying doctor service based in northern KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.Our mission is to the communities and health workers of the area. We try to live our lives and conduct ourselves in such a way as to bring glory to the Kingdom of God, and we are unashamed to share our Faith with those whom we come into contact with.
Our commercial flights range from Durban in the south, through the KwaZulu-Natal province into the Mpumalanga Lowveld.

Founded in 1975, ZUMAT has been serving the medical community of rural Maputoland through aviation. Medical flights are performed as a service and calling, and is done at no charge to the community or medical personnel. Commercial charter flights subsidize the operation.
After being based at Ubombo for more than 30 years, we are in the process of relocating to a new base at Hluhluwe, approx 1.5 hrs drive north of Richards Bay. We are excited about what the future holds.
ZUMAT is a non-profit organization and is structured as a trust.
