There are 3 bedrooms: the main bedroom has a queen-size double bed and the other 2 bedrooms a double bed and 2 single beds. The cottage has a large living room with a TV set. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave oven, stove, combination fridge / freezer, washing machine, drier and dishwasher. There are 2 bathrooms (m.e.s.) and a lock-up garage. A pay phone is available. Facilities The large garden has barbecue facilities and the stoep a cosy place to enjoy the tranquillity of a quiet corner of this popular village. Do your whale watching during the season from the veranda or walk amongst the splendour of the Fynbos. Mountain trails start 5 minutes from the back door and a walk to the sea takes less than 10 minutes. Hermanus is 90 minute's drive (120 km) from Cape Town. Voëlklip is the very popular holiday part of the village. Hermanus is one of the world's best land based sites for whale watching (season: July to November). It has a beautiful golf course, walking trials along the mountain slopes and seashore, yacht club and numerous restaurants.
