Mountain top views are spectacular at Kurisa Moya
Kurisa Moya, nestled in the Northern Drakensberg escarpment, overlooks the breathtaking Kudu's River valley but is only 45 minutes from the city of Pietersburg / Polokwane and 20 minutes from the mountain village of Haenertsburg and the beautiful Magoebaskloof. It is a 3 1/2 - 4 hour trip from Johannesburg / Gauteng
This piece of paradise truly embodies its Xitsonga name, Kurisa Moya, meaning Tranquil Spirit. It is a place where you can revive your soul.
The self-catering farmhouse, sleeping up to 10 people, serves as a base for a wide variety of activities and tours on the farm and in the surrounding area. The large, comfortable farmhouse, built in 1937, is situated so as to offer spectacular views of the farm. The house has 5 en-suite bedrooms, a large living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a wide verandah on two sides. The house is designed for socializing so the kitchen, lounge and verandah are popular places in which to meet and relax. The farmhouse is cool in the summer and is warmed by cozy fireplaces during winter. The lovely gardens offer tranquility and peace and there is a plunge pool in which to cool off on hot summer days.
