The commuting market is economically active and respon well to aspirational marketing. Off The Wall’s initiative to empower this mass market has secured us as the leading media owner reaching the mass market at train stations nationwide.

In addition to SARHWU 10% holding shares in OTW, AOC Eastern Cape have purchased a 44% interest in OTW. AOC has a 95% BEE shareholding and carries a BB+ empowerment rating. OTW also have a strong focus on empowering women. Women manage over seventy percent of the company. Administration as well as the operation and sales staff have a ninety percent compliment of women. OTW has a policy that over eighty percent of work outsourced is given to the previously disadvantaged community. The work outsourced plays a substantial part of OTW revenue and is seen as a key ingredient in OTW’s BEE policy.
The board of OTW is E.Mabyana, S.Brozin and W. Kilbourn (i.e. 2 out of 3 directors represent BEE interests). Based on the above, the current BEE shareholding of OTW is 54%.
