In 2003 Cox & McKay Electrical heeded the call of the majority of our customers in altering our company profile to that of a BEEE. The strategy we adopted was that of empowerment and not enrichment and in an audit conducted by an independent auditor we achieved a 40% rating. The plans are to be able to transfer both technical and business skills over a 5 year period.
