Furthermore, the short courses of the Language Centre are registered on the Stellenbosch University database. Mechanisms for quality control have been reported to the HEQC, and comply with SAQA legislation and requirements. Our range of training includes Effective Minute Writing, Proposal Writing and Report Writing.

Training is done mainly in the form of workshops. However we also offer continuous mentorships and a consultation service.

Accreditation of workshops
The short courses of the Language Centre are accredited by the Stellenbosch University through mechanisms for quality assurance approved by the HEQC, and comply with SAQA legislation and requirements. The Language Centre is therefore entitled to offer a Certificate of Competence on a NQF level 6 (assessment involved) and a Certificate of Attendance (no assessment involved).
