Every pair of scissors is inspected if necessary under microscope (yes you read right, microscope!), taken apart, cleaned and meticulously sharpened by hand. Part of the process is sharpening the inside ride line of each blade on Japanese waterstones, first on a King 1000 grit, then on an Ohishi 4000 grit and finally on a Kitayama Super Polish Waterstone with an effective grit of 8000-12000 – I have yet to meet another sharpener who does this. Your scissors WILL be sharper than when you bought them. Needless to say they will be set and balanced before being returned to you.

Worldwide, especially South Africa, as scissors are couriered to me. Postage and insurance is for the clients account and on his risk. I have found that the SpeedServices of the SA Post Office are the most efficient mode.
