Description
Established in 2001, we collect bags of mixed recyclable materials; useful, yet unwanted clutter, as well as flattened and bundled cardboard from participating households, corporations and industry on an alternative day to the waste collection day.

The materials are delivered to approved sorting facilities, including the largest sorting facility in the entire Southern Hemisphere, for further processing or distribution into the community.
The collection system - copied from the family business which I managed for 12 years before launching the Mr Recycle women empowerment project in 2001 - gives me the total piece of mind to state that, barring unforeseen incidents, the collections will be rendered as promised.

Company description
Social:
Your donated useful yet unwanted clutter is diverted from the waste stream, and delivered to various disadvantaged communities, potentially resulting in better living conditions in the communities.
Corporate:
We allow "corporate" the inexpensive opportunity to be "responsibly Green."
By reducing the amount of waste send to landfill through the recyclable collection service, we allow the participants the opportunity to save money on current waste disposal services, reduce the actual waste that arrives at the landfill sites as well as to be involved in job creation for the skilled, un-skilled and commercially unemployable.
The result:
An average 4 person family (Diamond grade) can reduce their waste to landfill by an average of 12 kilograms every month!
Over a twelve month period you could prevent 144 kilograms from being land filled... possibly the equivalent of you and your children's body weight!
Every 1000 (Diamond Grade) PlanetGUARDIANS removes 12 000 kilograms from the waste stream every month and assists in sustaining 5 jobs and equals 144 000 kilograms a year!
Having your recyclable materials collected on an alternative day to the waste collection day removes the motivation for the unemployed to wander the streets, scavenging in the wheelie bins and leaving a mess in front of our homes and businesses.
The creation of jobs for the skilled, semi - skilled and commercially unemployable.
Upliftment within the recipient communities of "Community Responsibility" donations.
Financial Empowerment of participating community focused organizations.
