Eco Deck It is a product that is made from 70% recycled wood and 30% recycled plastic which makes it very eco friendly. The decking comes in an assortment of colours and widths. Its non slip, rot resistant composite makes it perfect for around swimming pools and wet areas. The colour never fades and unlike wooden decking it never warps, cracks or splinters. It is assembled with a clip system so no screws are visible. This product has won the 2010 Decorex Green award and will keep at least 40 000 metric tons of waste wood and plastic from South Africa's landfill sites each year. NO trees are cut down to create this product, only recycled materials are used. Toxic chemicals and preservatives used for the treatment of natural timber are no longer required. The use of recycled materials lowers the overall lifecycle cost, reduces harmful greenhouse gases, reduces waste from numerous industries and most importantly conserves our precious resources for the future!
