Self-catering 4 sleeper cottage
including bedding, cutlery and crockery. All facilities are gas operated and oil lamps are provided. There is an inside braai and a portable one for outside use. Braaigrid and tools are also supplied. Braaiwood for sale at office or can be arranged prior to arrival. Firelighters not provided. Better suited for a couple or a couple with 2 children.
PARKHOME:
Self-catering 6 sleeper
situated at the carp- and skidam. Bedding, cutlery and crockery are provided. All facilities are gas operated and oil lamps are supplied. Portable braai outside with grid and tools.
BLOUHUIS:
Self-catering 6 sleeper house
with electricity. Bedding, two plate stove, kettle, fridge, cutlery and crockery are provided. Small lounge and dining area with outside portable braai.

Company description
Camping can be done at the 'Carp and ski dam' and in the Akkerbos with hot shower and flush toilets. Braai facilities are also available.
No electricity is available.
Voorhoede is situated 5km east of Caledon on the N2 and a 120km from Cape Town. The farm is signposted on the right hand side of the N2. Turn right and continue up the gravel road to reception.
The farm, which also forms part of the Klein Swartberg Conservancy is managed mainly for sheep farming with tourism contributing to the daily activities. Outdoor activities on the farm include trout fishing, carp fishing, 4x4 trails, mountain biking, hiking, abseiling, waterskiing, birdwatching and wildflowers.
Voorhoede offers accommodation with self-catering cottages, a parkhome and ample camping facilities. Cottages are all situated away from the main working farm and are very private. No electricity is available in 2 of the cottages but gas facilities are provided i.e. Geyser, fridge and stoves. There are two campsites, one at the 'Carp-and ski dam' and one in the 'Akkerbos', both with hot shower and flush toilets.
Booking is essential.
No pets or fireworks allowed.
Toilet paper, matches, candles and oil lamps are provided in cottages.
There is cell phone reception.
Braaiwood is for sale at the office and can be arranged prior to arrival. Please do not take firewood from the veld. Firelighters are not provided.
No open fires are allowed. Fires are only allowed at designated braai areas and please remember: a fire should have a friend.
Settle fee at the office on collection of the key.
Shops are 5km away in town.
