MicroStep, who are known for their range in modern CNC machines, is a global leader and manufacturer of plasma, oxyfuel, laser and water-jet cutting systems and are world leaders in Plasma Cutting Technology.
The PowerStep subsidiary was born out of a need by MicroStep South Africa to package Plasma Cutting Machines, with diesel generator sets for the African continent specifically as there is a lack of reliable power.
Since then, the demand for generators had expanded greatly beyond the existing MicroStep customer base, and hence the inception of PowerStep was created to serve the general market for their power requirements.
