Description
Janét has been involved with teaching childrens ballet classes since 1960. She has the Teacher's Diploma in Ballet from UCT, and is a Licentiate of Cecchetti Society (Life Member), affiliated to The Imperial Society of Teacher's of Dancing, London. She was a soloist member of the University of Cape Town Ballet Company from 1958 - 1960. She runs classes at Noord Eind Primary School in Paarl and Zwaanswyk Academy in Retreat. Her pupils participate in the annual Cecchetti examinations and Paarl Valley Eisteddfod where trophies for solo, duet and group dances have been awarded to her pupils over many years.
