At Shades of White we aim to give you beautiful high quality dresses at affordable prices. Here you will have the opportunity to try on many different styles to see what will work best with your body type, which colour will suit your skin tone the best all this while never forgetting what you have in mind for yourself.

Shades of White is situated in Ridgeworth in Bellville which is the area just off Tygervalley centre. We are a professional home based boutique aiming to give specialised attention to each bride who comes through our door. We have a variety of gowns to try on and most appointments are about 1 hour long. This can be extended if necessary. Each gown is hand picked by owner Lindi Kriel. We have a selection of gowns available to buy of the shelf and others we will need to order in for you from the sample you tried on. This takes about 8 weeks. All alterations to gowns will be done on site so no need to go elsewhere for this service.
We also offer a small selection of costume jewellery, tiaras, veils and petticoats available to buy. We try and keep our prices affordable so that each bride will be able to find something in her budget. Regrettably we do not do rentals.
Fittings are by appointment only so advanced bookings are necessary. We realise that it is difficult to take time off work and because of this we see brides after hours on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings. These do book up fast so please book in advance. We see brides on Saturdays as well.
We do a small selection of evening wear, matric dance dresses as well as bridesmaid dresses. The Mother of the bride/groom are also welcome to pop in and see if we have something for you.
