To many clients in industry still struggle to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 and its incorporated Regulations. Our aim is to walk a mile with clients to ensure that they reach compliance and also maintains it. Legal compliance audits that we carry out at workplaces indicates to the client where the deficiencies are. From they we put systems in place and work towards compliance with our clients. I see so many safety manuals and safety plans from companies and contractors. That manual and safety plan is only the start of it. It doesn't end there. Section 8 of the OHS Act, 1993 clearly states that employers need to provide and maintain a safe and healthy workplace. The emphasis is on maintaining. This is where the whole workforce comes into play. I believe that safety is everybody's business in a company.
